It is a rarity to have access to a free system that offers these features without any advertisements, popups or offers to subscribe to marketing lists. As a result, the most common question we receive is: "Who are you? Who pays for this stuff? Why offer this to the public? What's in it for you?"
BlueHome.Net is paid for by the administrators of the system. We use this stuff ourselves for our own websites, email, etc. We donate our money and time because it's something that we love doing, and it's our way of giving back to those on the Internet. It's Good Karma.
The services we offfer
It's simple: We strive to provide the best service possible. Webspace and email -- the way YOU want it.
Your email is accessible via POP3, IMAP, web mail and wireless connection. We provide access to our SMTP server.
Also included are anti-spam, anti-virus and server-side filtering through the open source programs SpamAssassin, ClamAV, and Procmail to help keep your email in control.
In addition, you'll receive webspace and can upload files to your website via FTP. Name-based virtual hosts are included so that you can also use your own domain name, as well as PHP and MySQL.
